Are Paddy Power Evertonians?

I swear Paddy Power admin are Evertonians, some of their content has been very good, especially around the points deductions.

Anyways, feel free to move this to a better location but it made me chuckle and wanted to share.

Y'know, I've been thinking...when he said "no one's 'kin flying in to see Everton" it should've cut to Dan Friendkin sheepishly looking down at a little US flag pin on his jacket. Missed opportunity for him and Paddy there.

You think this 💩 is good ?
I hate this pathetic "lets laugh at ourselves" mentality.
It's no secret that humor can be an important part of well-being. It can reduce stress, improve memory, and help bring you closer to other people. Simply put, being able to laugh about things can help you feel better about your life.

You might find it easy to find humor in life's funnier moments, but being able to laugh
at yourself isn't always so easy. However, making light of your flaws, mishaps, and life challenges can have a number of benefits.
While it might sound surprising, being able to make fun of yourself can be good for your self-esteem. It might even improve your relationships and help you cope more effectively with the challenges that life throws at you.

But it isn't "us laughing at ourselves" is it - its Paddy Power laughing AT Everton and some of its supporters nodding along.
Desperately sad in my eyes.

Calling it a mentality is just a bit weird to be honest. You can (and should) laugh at yourself. It’s normal. If you can’t, you have pretty major issues. Obviously what you find funny is personal preference so not finding this particular brand of humour funny is fine, but not being able to laugh at how embarrassingly awful we’ve been in many respects over the last 30 years is pretty sad to be honest.

Irish catholics and we were the catholic team so we are in bed together
Technically we are not Catholic and never have been. The club emerged from a Methodist church background - for some reason it developed the mantra of being Catholic, I guess to fuel the Catholic/Potestant bigotry of the post-war era.

That other lot across the park came from the same church pool, originally.

I think it’s good. We’ve been through, well… too much, and it’s good to see that acknowledged. Even comedically. We’re not just making it up, or turning ourselves into the main character. It has been abominably awful, worse than most, and now we’re coming out the other side there’s a sense of catharsis about PP’s vids and posts.

I think they are pretty good to be fair, well the Everton ones anyway, not so sure on a lot of the others they do.

The Peter Reid one supporting Madrid was excellent

Think its quite funny just setting up a help group teaching everyone how to boo properly.

From the original post, yes.....someone on that team is an Evertonian, there a re some 'in' jokes there that others wouldn't get.
