There are not nearly as many people who are like this as social media would have you believe. Loads of bots and fake accounts trying to get people angry.

And then among the actual people, there are a lot of them who only care that it looks like they care. It's good for their image to appear super conscientious, but deep down they are really not that arsed.

Its a cesspit of a website. So many loons snd crackpot and its moderated by bots. Even I've been called "woke" and a "snowfkake" on there!!

I've also been in the fb gulag twice for apparent hate speech. Once I was having a laugh with a mate and I used the phrase "I could tell you but I'd have to kill you" - I was banned from posting for 3 days. Second time I simply used the word "fag" in a sentence instead of "cigarette" - anothef 3 days and now it seems fb thinks I'm a homophobe!

Its so bad I keep going back just to revel in its dystopian mix of loons and ne'er do wells.

Pandemic era Facebook was gold.
Bev, one of the cleaners from work, who spends most weekends drinking her own bodyweight in gin and hoovering up as much beak as she can jam up her snout suddenly became an expert in respiratory diseases and antibodies. Quite the turn I can tell you!

Not as much fun these days, now she post these memes that have pictures of celebrities on them with strange, vaguely passive aggressive quotes on them. Like a picture of Tom Hardy with the quote "Only a true friend can stab you in the back" or other such nonsense.

Seems she has decided to end her short but promising career in pulmonology.
