If anyone, I'd rather we see more of Chermiti rather than Beto. I think I've seen enough of him to say he isn't PL standard

…yep, that might well be the case. I get the impression he was overtaking Beto in the reckoning before his injury struck. Looks like Dyche has come to the same conclusion as most of us with Beto, I think he wanted and needed Chermiti to be more effective.

It's been that long since Chermiti got injured that I've forgotten what his injury is. Is it a broken foot and any idea when he might be back?

Well Yoro for United did a similar thing before Chermiti and he's only just back to individual training I think.

…cheers, Nymz, that’s a decent benchmark.

I think of metatarsal when it comes to broken foot and the high profile injuries to Rooney and Beckham but obviously there’s different levels of severity. I’m of a view that lots is down to the modern football boot and firm pitches, broken foot’s seemed far less common back in the day.

Yeah, I certainly hope we see a decent amount of Chermiti for the rest of the season. Unless DCL finds his finishing boots(def got tossed) Id like to see Broja starting and Chermiti coming on to see if he can continue his pre-season form. You have to think Thelwell is desperate to see him develop and save them a lot of cash this summer.

This season is a write off unless DCL gets injured. He will only get 10/20 mins here and there and no chance of building up match sharpness, unless we get some easy f a cup games.

Tbh, I think he will be given a fair chance as Dom isn't and I'm guessing won't be lighting up the league anytime soon. We have a chance to buy Broja in the summer, so it would be smart to give him enough minutes to prove himself, which I think will happen (unless he gets injured)

Remember the story of man city goalie Bert Trautman playing with a broken neck 🤣
