….as with lots of loans, Joey, I think the suggestion is we could be paying part of his salary whilst Chelsea pay the rest. It’s pretty much what’s happening to the likes of Holgate, West Brom probably pay circa £25k per week whilst we pay £50k.
Bottom line is, players on loan get at least their contracted salary.

That's what I stated may be half his salary or less - but it's still an outlay for a player with a big history of injuries...
