2024/25 Armando Broja


He needs to find his niche in the league. There has to be a manager that takes the time to find out how he can best be utilized on the pitch. As of right now, he is not a goalscorer. He may pick that up at some point in time, but he would be better served on a team with less pressure to perform. He is more CAM than striker right now. He is skilled. He needs to be utilized correctly and that isn't as a striker right now.

You're telling me the striker we got on loan isnt suited to score goals cmon!
 
Scoring is secondary to a Moyes team anyway for the striker (though still one of their main jobs). Broja’s movement will make lots of space for deep runners to get goal scoring opportunities.

We didn't have to pay his wages until he got fit. There was no loan fee. If the wages were that low, I think we'd just cover it especially due to no fee.

He also has a £30mill option to buy. Ipswich had a deal where that was mandatory if they stayed up and we're paying his wages (which they knocked on the head due to his medical).

I'm not saying his wages are ridiculous. But if be surprised they're that low. But he's pretty much staying put at Chelsea regardless.

…..played 26 games and scored 2 goals for Chelsea in 5 years yet contracted on big bucks until 2028. Absolutely crazy, what a very lucky young man, I’d be very wary of a sudden improvement in form.

he Has a long career at fulham written all over him
 

I think there's loads of talent in there and it just needs him playing in the right system for him to be a huge asset to someone. If he was available on loan again next season, I'd be tempted to take him again but we can't invest a single penny in a permanent deal - he's all potential and injuries at the moment, you'd need to see him stay fit and produce more before you could justify actually buying him
