Fact is, inflation has changed the definition of what a reasonable fee is. There aren’t enough strikers being produced nowadays and those that are are not of the same quality as years ago. It’s down to how they train the youth nowadays to e be athletes primarily and with more all-around skills.

Fact is about 5 years ago or whenever it was he had a loan spell at Southampton were he looked very good apart from the face he didn’t score much and missed some absolute sitters if I remember right. Since then he’s been poor or injured. It was a terrible loan signing imo and another black mark against Kev. Kev made some decent signings but there’s a fair few duffers in there too. Very hit and miss really and I’m glad he’s no longer having a say.
