2024/25 Armando Broja

Can’t play the lone striker role.

Just don't think he is a number nine and is too injury prone and ineffectual, to even think about another loan

Hes previously been a wide forward and think hes shown great technique in the past and was adept at cutting inside off the left.

Thats why Ipswich had the £30mil deal accepted.

Got no chance with us.

Shouldn't play a further minute for Everton. Nothing against him, he's just not very good, hasn't scored a single goal for us, is due to return to his parent club soon, and is very injury-prone. Just start Beto in all the games until end of the season.

I think he'd excel in Serie A and he should look at moving on from Chelsea permanently this season to forge a career there or in another league.
Was thinking that on Saturday . Somewhere else even another club where he was linking play up he might look better but as a lone forward for us he looked miles off .

Not to mention he had a sprint where he looked like he was in quicksand and then also got casually bumped off the ball .

I wasn’t delighted when we got him but hoped to be proved wrong but it’s not worked out for him here .

He's got a contract at Chelsea until 2028, and suspect he's on a decent wedge that he's not realistically getting elsewhere. Going to be a loan every year for someone until he really shows enough, but it's not looking great for him or Chelsea really.
They thought they were being smart offering these stupid long-term contracts (Mudryk? he's there until 2031/32), but it just leaves them stuck for years with players that they can't get rid of (a la Cenk Tosun for us). Doesn't matter though, they can sell the land that the ground is on to themselves or some other money tree magic and keep spending.

I think he's got a fair bit of talent but he probably hasn't been helped/helped himself by being at a different club every year and used in different ways, and even at his age the amount of injuries he's had is probably taking a toll. I still think he can do well somewhere but don't see any justification for us keeping him here.
