I’m surprised this kind of thing hasn’t happened before.

It normally takes about a week between the time we agree a signing a it being confirmed by the club. I don’t know of any other club that drags transfers out so much.

It hasn't happened before because the players we have signed are woeful and nobody else wants them.

It does surprise me that he's made the trip to Merseyside in the first place. It doesn't surprise me that our staff didn't secure the deal afterwards, because complacency is what we get instead of professionalism
