I cannot agree with you. The history the past trophies the turnover 40000 supporters and the new stadium. Not in the same category.

Everton has never been a small club. Despite our struggles and mismanagement in the last 3 decades, Everton remains one of the biggest, most historic clubs in the land with a fan base most cannot get near. I also dont think there are many other clubs who's fans would have stood by them in numbers like ours have given the decline. If you're a younger fan I can understand that sentiment but those of us who have seen how fearsome this club can be with a competitive team see it differently.

The history ? been sick of hearing this for last 20 years as it stands we’re about to make some more history first time out the premier league. All I’ve known in my 30 odd years is misery I remember us winning the FA cup but didn’t follow Everton that much then just loved football and playing it a few years after that is when I started following Everton results properly and in the years of supporting Everton we’ve had a couple of semi finals and final, odd run in Europe and almost made the champions league with that 4th place being the best finish wow we’re a giant of a club. Not even sure if we have the funds to complete the new stadium, turnover isn’t that good as we can’t spend a penny due to ffp supporters are the only good thing going for the club at the moment but recent videos circulating has put a cloud over that I’m sure potential new signings will see them if they search everton.

Look Bournemouth was in League One not long ago. Low turnover and its stadium fill 11000 people so please don’t pretend we are in the same category.

Clearly a bigger team than Bournemouth but we aren’t a big club anymore will we be a big club if we play in the championship?

Exactly my point. In my 50 years I have seen 2 titles, a european trophy, 2 FA Cups. It should have been a lot more but for circumstances that transpired against us outside our control. Remember that's a lot more than fans of Brentford, Bournemouth, Wolves, Newcastle, Leicester etc. plus many many other clubs in the lower leagues. It's years ago and history yes, but it still counts.
