What I’m saying is he would have played a good portion of minutes for us but the chances are he will be warming the bench at Tottenham. If it was a permanent deal I would be more understanding of his motives
If he has any kind of ambition he’ll be intending on forcing his way into the managers plans there. Whether we think that’s likely or not isn’t really relevant.
He’s probably also thinking that we are a total mess. It’s likely the deal with us has been on the cards for at least a couple of weeks, in which time we’ve lost another two league games and sacked our manager.
I was a bit shocked when it seemed he was coming here in the first place, to be honest.
