I mean ours would also have been wrapped up quick? He had a medical and media over the week, to be announced the day later.
Taking 5 days to complete a transfer is different to taking 24 hours.
Explain. He wasn't booked in for medical till Fri/Sat.
He had agreed to come to us on Thursday, as @Tofeenut posted. On Tuesday it still wasn’t completed. Spurs agreed terms with him on Tuesday and on Wednesday it was completed.
Well the medical was gonna be booked, but wasn't booked till Saturday, so he couldn't do it any earlier. If he didn't U-turn it would have been announced before Tuesday. We also fired a manager at the same time, adds a little bit to it as you know.
I don’t understand why it couldn’t have been completed on Sunday after he’d passed the medical.
Probs due to the whole his agent not filing off the necessary docs awaiting bigger interest.
I blame Everton tbh.
