Who’s arsed about a buy option? I just want to stay up.
Exactly.

I mean, this idea that we should be getting all attached to ANY Everton player in this season's squad is bizarre when the whole thing will have to be burned down and rebuilt by probably a new manager/new owner in the summer if we stay up anyway.

Yeah, this lad might come in and score six or seven goals to keep us up. Brilliant if that happens. But we are in the toilet. We need to flush the lot come survival - if we are lucky enough to have that chance in June.

Never laugh at Bournemouth fans. It takes guts to support a truly little club in the big league with huge clubs like Everton swanking into town every season.

Maybe, maybe not. Campbell stayed after his hot streak on loan.
Different times...if he does well here zero chance he'll stay. He will go to a top 6 club. Maybe that's why he is coming here vs Bournemouth...he knows that it's only for a few months which is perfect to showcase his talent for then to get his big move. Maybe other club made the buy option a priority where we are taking anything...

People curious why he’d prefer here over Bournemouth puzzle me a bit I’ll be honest. Taking away all the indisputable facts on how we’re a giant club compared to them, they probably should be getting relegated. With us on the other hand, we all think we’re down on here because of what we’ve seen but really no one outside of the fanbase legitimately thinks we’ll get relegated, we’re theoretically far too good, despite the fact we know we’re not.

Him coming in and “saving” us makes him seem a lot better than him coming in and probably going down with Bournemouth. Look, a win today would take us 14th, pair that with the fact that literally everyone believes that Lampard will be eventually sacked and replaced by someone solid like Dyche and it’s fairly easy to see why a player would still pick us. We’re expected to survive and we should survive if things go our way in this window and probably with a new manager.
