It's also quite surprising given his success at Villareal last season Emery & Villa also seem to be leaving Bournemouth to it. Maybe Bournemouth in their predicament just think it's a risk worth taking.

And Villa are looking for a "specialist winger".

It wouldn't surprise me TBH if it wasn't his agent briefing he's close to Bournemouth to force others to show their hand - he's been linked to bigger clubs than them (or us) and it would surprise me if crawling back to Bournemouth was the limit of his ambition.
