Wasn’t it the club had done everything but it was Arnaut’s agent refusing to sign over the documents as he’d heard of Spurs’ late interest?

The medical was done on the Friday as per @Tofeenut, however we decided to send him packing for the weekend before his agent had emailed some sort of paperwork over. Then on the Saturday we sacked Lampard after losing to West Ham and it all went south from there. There’s absolutely no reason they couldn’t have had the contract sorted on the Friday.

Scored goals in the premier league in a poor Bournemouth team, got in the champions league team of the season and Villarreal are only getting rid of players because their finances are worse than ours
