2023/24 Arnaut Danjuma

He needs to be more of a team player, else he will find himself on the bench when Harrison and McNeil are fully fit
Aye. I have no issue with players wanting to make chances and score goals, however it has to be combined with passing and assisting when required.

There were two opportunities today where a shot was not the best option, and a lay-off could have set up a goal scoring opportunity for the others.

….good to see a wide player in the 6 yard box getting on the end of a cross from the other flank. It’s something Iwobi never did, yet it’s such a productive area for a player who busts a gut to get in there.

Encouraged by the positions he takes up even if he was wasteful today. You rarely find our wide players in those areas so i think it’s encouraging.
Yeah he has plenty about him which I like. Just hope he gets a bit more composed and he’ll be good.

still on the fence with him but got two goals now, mcneil has to be played on the left for me. Then him and harrison fight on the right, also danjuma could be the second striker

Early days but look like the sort of player who will miss chances but keeps getting into dangerous positions so will score his share of goals.

They’re the positions that Gray doesn’t get in to

That’s difference, he’s got the awareness

He's got something about him, but so many wrong decisions today

Got into great positions consistently.

Extremely selfish (like Gray) but looks alot better to me.

I wonder if hes rusty having barely played for so long.

Selfishness I can live with, Richarlison was selfish. He doesn’t slow the game down, if he’s given the ball and he’s one on one he will run at the defender and commit them; not stop and slow everything down

The goal shows the difference between him and Gray (and Iwobi). How many times would a ball be swung in and Gray is on the edge of the box

He never had the instinct or the ability read the game
