I'm not convinced a player that's not started a league game since mid September actually needs replacing.

He gets on the pitch a lot though it would be one less option when we don’t have a lot to start with and would hope there’s at least a couple more cup games too.

Heads would've been off all over the shop if we'd given 1 year deals to Townsend and Barkley in the summer but it would've been a good decision.

Yeah but it's one of those where we can only say that now that Townsend has recovered because knowing our luck he would never have kicked a ball again and ended up like Dele or Delph. But he would've fully bought in on Dyche and been useful.

Barkleys head would've fell off the second he dropped his first stinker and got booed. I still don't think there will ever be a place for him here like Benitez

We are we allowing a player to leave without a replacement when our squad is already nowhere near big enough.

Personally think we've let him go to free wages up to get someone Dyche feels will work better.

He gets on the pitch whilst chasing a lost cause as a hail Mary. He's not actually changed a games result doing that (nearly did vs spurs but nearly counts for 0) there's just as much chance Dobbin or Chermiti pops up with a goal doing that as Juma will. Shame Mills got such a bad injury because he could've took those minutes to equally not impact games

Yeah I know his impact doesn’t need replacing but dyche must think he’s a better option than the other 2 so losing him just makes the squad weaker we could say loads of players haven’t done anything but we need a squad.

I thought he did a decent job most of the time he was called on.
I'm surprised he wasn't given more time.
Seems clear that he was really wanted by thelwell.
Would imagine a lot of fringe players look at Dyche and his loyalty and make the decision to move on.
