It is definitely a concern that the only proper striker back up we have for Lukaku, is Kone.

That needs to be addressed in the summer as a matter of priority even before a "midfield playmaker" or "left sided centre half".

Dunno about that mate.

Striker was priority last summer. If we make it priority again the other areas will fall behind like they have this season.

Strikers are match winners, they win you games that's why they're so expensive. If Lukaku picks up an early break/ligament injury god forbid, and is out for months rather than weeks, that's our season basically over.

Most teams have three, sometimes 4 strikers of decent quality. We have one.

If we can't afford to buy a decent striker outright, then at the very least Martinez needs to earn his corn and find a striker of sufficient quality on loan.

Just that we have soooo many areas that need sorting.

I agree we do, but other areas I think are slightly more manageable. If we lose a player in any other position on the field other than striker, then I think we'd cover that and get away with it to a degree.

Lose Lukaku for a period of time and we're well and truly screwed.

In fact, had we lost Lukaku for any substantial period this season, we would be facing relegation right now.
