....not a big performance but a big result.

I was going for the much maligned Coleman as MoM but the reality is Godfrey was the rock of that performance. I said on the day he signed that by the end of the season he’d be our best CB & for once I was right. Phew.

Godfrey & an other at CB for the next 5 seasons.

I had Coleman down as motm right until he let Martinelli somehow get that shot away at the end which nearly cost us.

Great save so Pickford wins motm

Delighted with the result but might paper over some cracks.

Delph I think is awful now and I couldn’t believe Carlo brought him on yet we won, it doesn’t make sense. Thank Gid I’m not the Manager. I’d love to know his thinking behind bringing him on before Davies.

Its about the basics of football. Not many but delph understand so it needs to be shown

It wasn’t pretty but who cares at this stage.

Carlo needs to be drilling it into the players that they don’t wanna be looking back on this season and realising what if. We need to attack the rest of the season much more for me but happy with the win tonight.

I’ve got to say as well that Pickford has been good since coming back. He’s been good with his feet and reliable which is a word I thought I’d never be able to use about him since his first year
