Saw Davies was too slow to react, pass and physically too slow to reach the ball about 5 times.

It was great. Defo top player deserving the armband.

We can blame the officials all we want, if we take our chances we win the game, end of.

That is what I hope Silva is saying to them after the game - they should have won this and with better finishing and more belief they will in the future. Half that side played in the 5-1 last season and they are unrecognizable from that shower.

Martinez arguments out again. We're playing beautiful attacking football but lose and concede for fun. And not just this game, this whole season. We're not controlling games at all. People can scapegoat a different player each game but there's only one constant this season. Silva.

And when the same team was crap last season the same constant was allardyce/unsworth/koeman (delete where appropriate)

Maybe just maybe the squad is actually quite poor and when all our international players are playing we may see less of a relegation battle side (siggurdson , gueye, Keane) combined with Youth (Davies Kenny lewen).

Maybe a team that has internationals from Columbia Brazil France Portugal might just be better?

He plays the ball out of play and stray well too much. Don't know what Tom Davies you watched but he's dreadful.

Just my opinion, he's always second to everything, never looks like winning a challenge, and play seems to break down around him, which is ironic as the final third is supposed to be his best position.
I'm also not fooled by him aimlessly closing down while never actually getting near the ball.

Look, we all thought Sandro would be good. Tosun is a good finisher, but he's out of sorts.

People bandy 25-goal per-season strikers around like they're common. They really aren't, which is why they cost £50m plus.
