Who knows Arsenal are going through a transition. If I wasn’t going down doubt I would be optimistic.

Just need to find a 3 in midfield that works

We’re probably going to have to think about defending for this one, Lacazette and Aubameyang are just a little bit rapido.

Probably not a game to try to outscore the opposition (with Tosun up front) if I’m honest.

Our records at arsenal, United, Chelsea and the RS have been abysmal. We've only won at one ground this century but I think Silva is the right manager to actually have a go at winning. Martinez was the only manager out of the last four we've had to actually try and win and that's been the main reason we haven't done so imo.

I just pray Silva sets us up attacking to go and win. The only way we'll beat arsenal is by trying to outscore them. We don't have the team to do it with a backs to the wall defensive effort.

Fully expect emery to finally go with torreira for this one and he'll boss us. Probably drop the shaky cech as well which will be just our luck.

Might he a mad one, we can score but our vacant midfield and terrible defence will mean Arsenal will likely out score us.
5-2 Arsenal win

4-2-3-1 no chance
and with Gana and Scneids in the centre its becoming the definition of insanity.
The only realistic way of getting points is to play the counter game, it is Arsenal after all, that's their weakness.

---------Richarlison---------------------------- Walcott----------------
-----------------------------------Sig---------------------------------------
-------------Bernard---------------------------Davies-------------------
-------------------------------Scneiderlin----------------------------------
Digne--------------Zouma-------------Holgate----------------Kenny

2 up front. 1 is too easy to defend against, 3 doesn't help resolve major problems that currently exist.
We have the goods in Richarlison and Walcott to pull it off.
Walcott against Arsenal, in a role he's been wanting, well its time to shine, to make a statement
And we know what we'll get from the Pigeon.

Keep it simple stupid in the midfield - 4-4-2 diamond formation in attack, compression of the lines and holding ground through the centre in defense.

Standard build up:
Bernard can play effectively in the tight, half spaces, draw players and still get the ball away - something that's been sorely lacking. So Digne perfect to provide extra width if needed and done wisely, allowing Rico a freer role, allowing him to play more central.
If Rico positions left it allows Walcott and Sig through the middle, and Kenny in space to cross, if ball is recycled and moved quickly, Bernard being the man again - basic build up without overcommiting - lines 3-3 to defend in transition.

In transition, focul points are Bernard or Davies rather than Schneiderlin and Gana.
Play for the counter any time its on for eg Bernard to Walcott to Sig to Ric attempt, either comes off or not
Not have a ponderous look, opt for build up and start with a back pass.
If counter isn't on revert to above build up. No faffing about.
The out is Scneiderlin dropped in space to provide ranged passes.

Defense
Scneiderlin's focus should be central defending.
Sig has to drop when not in possession to compress the lines partnering Bernard and Davies. When his legs run out bring on Dowell.
Rico or Walcott has to put pressure on the player providing the link from backs to midfield/forwards and forget chasing the CBs. A bit of nerve required here.

Basically let/force Arsenal play wide, hold the centre through the pitch, win ball back, counter

Result: 2-1 either way.
With a Scneiderlin Gana 4-2-3-1, 4-1 loss
