I'd have Gray in the side Charles for his unpredictability and chance to create something out of nothing. We need something up top and he's infuriating but does have that 1 in 10 game where he can slot.

Just looking at the state of that bench, coupled with our first team, I was born in 85 and I think it’s easily the worst squad in my lifetime.

Mike Walker had a worse one, easily.

If he’s gonna play McNeil then I’d be tempted to stick Keane upfront to get on the end of his crosses. Keane isn’t actually a bad finisher and would cause problems in the box! I don’t see the point of playing McNeil if you’re playing Maupay upfront. McNeil can deliver some good balls sure, but he has nothing else to his game and isn’t a goal threat so McNeil and Maupay makes little sense. Gray has goals in him at least and needs to play for me.

I understand Gray maybe has doubts about his work rate but without him there's zero actual quality.

I can understand him not playing Gray on the wing if he’s worried about the defensive side, and I know Gray is not a forward, but he could do no worse than Maupay, and at least Gray can hold up the ball and draw a foul.
