Feels like Arsenal have had their little blip now. This will be a painful result.

I’d rest a few players - Coleman for Holgate/Godfrey maybe , coady for Mina, grey for maupay,
maybe gray for Iwobi out wide, for his speed on counter. Cannot see Dyche starting Simms in such a difficult game. Coleman or Myko might need a rest before Forest you are right.

Going to be on the end of a tonking in this i think. New manager bounce is over and we still cannot score no matter how many chances we get which is mostly thanks to the sterling job that good times Bill and his cheerleaders did in January. Unforgivable and i still feel we will pay the price for it at the end of this season as i am not sure even Dyche will be able to prevent what seems to be the inevitable.

Pickford
Coleman, Coady, Tarkowski, Mykolenko
Iwobi, Doucouré, Gana Gueye, Onana, McNeil
Simms

Stick with this formation against Arsenal and then go for 4-4-2 against Nottingham Forest.

Why, honestly?
Because he is still very raw and inexperienced against prem defenders. He is not going to see much of the ball and will spend most of the game functioning alone upfront. The potential damage to his confidence is high. I certainly think he is better than Maupay but for this game I dont think Dyche would risk Simms confidence and would feel Maupay will be a nuisance to their defenders.

No way, Dave.

There were similiar messages of surrender prior to Arenal’s visit a few weeks ago.

We took a point at City when we were at a much lower ebb than we are now.

I think a point, at least. is there for the taking ;)
It's not impossible we take a point, but highly improbable.

They'll want to exact revenge on us for taking 3 points of them up here and of course they need to convert this game in hand to keep City at a distance.

Dyche should rotate heavily and focus on Forest.

Agree with you there, Dave. Need everyone healthy and well rested to go for Forest. That marks the beginning to the end.

We need to prioritise for Forest and Brentford. 4 points from those two games and we remain well in the fight for survival with the other 6 / 7 clubs.
