I've seen Everton teams playing in pre-season friendlies that gave more than that shower. They were and are a disgrace.
Not really mate was a 2nd string side, it was our 5th game in 2 weeks and was a nothing game. Thursday was emotional and exhausting for both fans and players, Arsenal had everything to play for we had nothing. The game was irrelevant. Not like we been good away from home 2 wins all season. What you expect? Us to turn up and win 5-1. It was very much after the Lord Mayor show. Seasons over forget about it and focus on next season

The 3pm blackout, which has been in place since the 1960s, prohibits matches being shown between 2:45pm and 5:15pm in order to protect attendances throughout the football pyramid. In Uefa territories, “Article 48” dictates that on a Saturday or Sunday, there must be a period when no live football can be shown on TV.

Oh and by the way, Sky Sports costs around 30 quid a month in this country.
This is what i don’t get. When no fans were allowed at games sky showed every game live even at 3pm.

Tifo did a good video on this a little while ago, basically saying that the 'blackout' is really outdated at this point and should be reconsidered..

Found this beautiful artefact on the wall in the Arsenal supporters club after the game

I watched that in a small old style bar in Blackrock Co Dublin with my dear late Dad. The barman, an otherwise nice bloke , was a fanatical Red. When Thomas got that deciding goal we went mad, and poor Jerry (the barman) was distraught - I actually felt sorry for him.
