The "euphoria" of Thursday - which was in essence sheer relief after the horror of relegation seemed more likely - cannot and should not be spun into anything other than the understandable culmination to a season of abject humiliation.

Today ends this season on precisely the correct note.

Like many in this thread have said, I'm very disappointed by this poor display, but it's beneficial in a way.
It will dispossess everyone of any illusions that this squad is capable of competing and isn't in need of a complete overhaul.
