Usually I hate the last day of the season as I face three months without Everton.

But when this match finishes I am going to punch the air and look forward to a summer of Everton not ruining my weekend.

Let's face it, this season finished, in any meaningful sense, on the first weekend of the year when Leicester knocked us out the Cup.

In these games when he's apparently been on holiday, he's been providing some genuinely superb service from wide positions, making a mockery of the idea he does nothing but score goals or that him "downing tools" is the reason for our drop in form.

Some people on here are genuinely waiting for any opportunity to slate him. I just can't get that. Most of them are self professed analysts (aren't we all?) who formed a theory about him 3 years ago and won't budge from it.

Lukaku has worked harder in these past 3 games because he is trying to prove a point to other teams. Without Coleman he will have to work that much harder. If he goes to other teams, he will have to do more. He hasn't been playing like this all season, but I like what I have seen from him recently.

Like him or not, for Koeman to win an away match he needs a Bolasie like player, strong, pacey and direct so that we actually create things. We've been a bit unlucky with injuries this year and Yannick was clearly bought with this tactic in mind.
