Two instances where the players downing tools for a run of games is quite unforgivable.

The awful run before Christmas that was only rectified by a change in formation and one Morgan Schneiderlin.

And as soon as 7th place was secured.

Arsed if we've got Europe, top 4 or won the league with a run of games to go. You never drop below 100%. There are a lot of players who are guilty and frankly aren't Everton material. Though Koeman has hopefully rooted them out.

To me its not all the players downing tools. Some are nowhere near good enough when playing teams above us. No effort from bang average players.

Mirallas sporadically but then you have Rom who just isn't making the lung busting runs to get into position and Valencia who doesn't know how to put one foot infront of the other to tap a ball in. Annnd finally Ross. The "diamond" who instead of hitting a volley first time would rather bring it down and shift it foot to foot about 4 times and then shoot into the defender almost blindly.

Mirallas is more of a goal scorer, Barkley kind of is too (goals would be kind of nice though), and the right side is spare parts. We desperately need someone in the CM who can actually create in the attacking end. I kind of think Scheinderlein can do it but it looks like he's going to stay in the what should be Gana's position.
