We probably would, after going behind and making hard work of it lol.wish howard would have started today.
except for that goal that joel conceded (forgotten who it was against) where he basically just let the ball fly past him whilst doing a camera dive... he offers a really big presence when it comes to one on ones! he's stopped quite a few and i feel has more to offer than howard in that respect

Key battles here:

Coleman v Gibbs
Barkley creating space against Arteta and Flamini
Stones v Sanogo
Barry and McCarthy keeping tabs on Ozil in the hole

I have to say, I'm happy that Giroud only makes the bench for them.

2 right backs (Hibbert and Browning) on the bench - not much back up defensively today. Hope no injuries.

Southampton it was

Just a Breadth of fresh air, away at arsenal and playing an attacking line up, love ya bobby, fortune rewards the brave, allez allez allez ooooo

sorry not having that at all.

5/6 of their players would walk into our team

On the flip side, they'd kill for a player like lukaku up front or either of our full backs and Vermaelen is a liability.

Arteta and Flamini vs Barry and McCarthy is 50/50. It's only the attacking 3 of ox, ozil and cazorla that really look scary.
