just reading the web chat with snodin and they have said that it will be on the os very soon!

" Hi guys. I'm glad to tell you we're about to put a story on the website about Mikel - and I think you'll all like it a lot!
Saturday August 7, 2010 15:10 "

" Just to confirm - there is a big story about to go on the site. But please on here and keep chatting to me!"

Fcuk me with a carrot, it's true.

The 24 year rule doesn't seem as unlikely now....

I'd just like to point out (apologies if someone has already mentioned it) that Mikel mentioned in his EvertonTV interview he is aware of all the whispers regarding his loyalty etc and maybe he does want to move on etc, (which is all fuelled by journalists who have nothing better to write). Those who would have paid proper attention would be aware he said absolutely nothing to suggest this and stayed quiet until it was done and dusted, then pretty much signed his last best 5 years of football away to our club, that's loyalty.

My point being is before people get up on their high horse about players saying something, not saying something (im pointing at Pienaar, he's been very quiet for a while now!) you should think very carefully about what the rags say or agents for that matter before you start going off on one.

If it hadn't have been for the Baby issue , he've signed in April - LIKE HE WAS GONNA .

His Agent was the one hawking him around , NOT Arteta .

FACT .

Pienaar is a totally different kettle of fish. One, because this is the first contract renegotiation. Two, he's deliberately run down his contract to get a lower cash offer from other clubs and a higher wage offer. If the club don't bite for this he knows he'll be offered the earth come January. He's shafting us one way or the other unless he signs in the next month.

Gospel this. If LCAB says it.

I can forgive Mikel. Because frankly he said it all when he said "its my dreams" in his interview - about playing for Everton and getting off to a good start this season.

Now he's signed he's FRANKLY BEYOND REPROACH as a footballer. IMHO

Mikel Arteta and Tim Cahill are the two of the most loyal players in football and the good thing is they are both very talented footballers, we're very lucky to have them

He WON'T be offered the world by US in Jan' , lad .

The offer is parity with Saha .

I know some things about this , and I personally feel that the Club have been fair enough on this issue . NOT always the case but in this instance , yes .

I've just about had enough of Pienaar at the min. Parity with Saha sounds about right to me, if he doesn't want it ...... see ya!
