He was arguably the most consistent footballer for the period he was at his peak, in the Premier League.

Myko looked awful when he first came, didn’t actually look like a footballer in a couple of games. You’d like to think having Baines and Cole to learn from would have helped him.

I can imagine after the first few games of looking out of sorts Leighton and Ashley took him to one side and had a little chat. I bet the conversation went a bit like this:
“Like, do you know who we are Myko? L0L” asks Ashley.
“Yeah, man lmao you’re showing us up here!” adds Baines.
“Sort your sh** out boy ahaha!” Ashley chuckles jovially.

Cole is probably the best LB that the PL has ever seen and is in the top 5 when you are talking about the best LBs the world has ever seen so there's no doubt that he's having a massive influence on Mykolenko and can teach him a lot. When you have another of the best LBs the PL has seen in Baines at the club it is going to ensure that we have probably the best coaching in the league when you consider that position. What's even better is that they compare beautifully with each other. Cole was better defensively than Baines and Baines was better offensively so you have the best of both worlds.
