From Llanelli which is by Swansea and last year a lot of Swans fans were saying Williams has lost a step. Don't get me wrong yes he's an upgrade in the middle of the defence and an upgrade as an out and out CB over stones, but £12m for a 32 year old who's on the decline and doesn't have many years left worries me. If we also got Kone I would be be very happy. Don't get me wrong though I hope I'm proved wrong about Williams but just letting you know what swans fans were saying last season.

Could be a good buy then again it could be 12 million flushed down the toilet, its one of those deals we should have scouted for a replacement for Stones younger than Williams imo!
Koeman is not impressing me hope he proves me wrong mixed feelings for a 32 year old Gallaway Browning , and Holgate have to learn off Williams to get our money's worth imo!
 
Good deal this in my opinion. Getting on sure but we're not short on youth in defence. Nice to see a deal being done for the here and now and not 'one for the future'

Also weakens Swansea considerably which is plus.
