You can't play him in a 2 with Mori or Jagielka, he's an accident waiting to happen. He's decent in a three but thinks he's been a pretty poor signing. The second half was no surprise. We need to keep a back three until we can sign some good centre halves in the summer.

Mori can lash a ball up field better than anybody in the league.
He made some class passes today always a mistake in him though I agree with that, but Williams just never covered King for the two goals !
Also lost the ball trying to turn his man, but the defence was under pressure it happens Barry was running in trailer after 50 minutes sub shoul have come the , but 6-3 was pleasing our subs turned the tide

Worrying how often he has a mistake in him - got caught out today but can think of a couple of other times where he's got done for pace/given it away in a dodgy area and not been punished. Been our 'least bad' CB this season but think that's more a comment on the others (Holgate aside) than anything else

Some of the shouts are pretty harsh on him. He's new at the club and he's expected to lead in a back line alongside some declining or sub-standard players.
He's a good centre back and I am in no doubt he will look fifty times better next season when a)he's settled and b)he has an experienced pro beside him.
As an aside, we've really been spoiled with centre backs over the past decade. Jags and Lescott were top notch, Distin wasn't far off them either. I'm in no doubt this makes the current frailties a lot more noticeable.

Just back from the game. His distribution is woeful. His lack of pace means he is always keen to have us defend so, so deep.
It nearly cost is the game today until koeman changed it to the 3-5-1-1.
He is a decent defender but a horrendous footballer.
Those saying funes mori was worse I really just don't understand. I'm not a fan of his but he covered a lot of Williams poor positional play today.
He is no where near the level we aspire to and the simple fact we have to employ two other centre backs in a 3 at the back for him to look decent screams incompetence in his role. A negative in an otherwise positive day.
