2023/24 Ashley Young

I still don't think think the first two are penalties. First one is a dive, plants his foot after the contact and then just decides to fall over. 2nd one the ball is coming over his shoulder he's turning and has his arms out for balance. It gets blasted at him from a couple of yards away and hits his arm. Don't think it's a pen.

Thirds deffo a pen. Just got lucky.

Agree he's not great, funny twitter posts though.

He's going to get sent off in the Derby

He can't play. Still unsure on the first one at the weekend but the RS get both the first and the third penalty claims all day. With how snide their players are in the box we can't be having Young anywhere near the side. They will target him from the off like they did earlier in the season.

Is a nark, seems to be the only one we have giving it the verbals in game and looking for the wind ups. As much as it doesn't have a part in the game, it very much does. Seems to be to Dyche what Neville became to Moyes, and alcaraz to martinez. First on the team sheet despite lack of form, abject dire performances strung together, just the embodiment of the managerial ethos out on the pitch.

In that context, it's actually down right frightening.

When was Alcaraz ever the first name on the team sheet? He started like 5 games for us in 2 seasons.

Even with our depth issues at FB, he should never start there. Godfrey and Garner are available. At 38, no matter how fit he is, Young has lost too many steps on younger players and is constantly giving up unnecessary fouls. He's been much better playing at RM or RW, and even there I'd use on as a utility reserve, never as a starter.
