There's no question in my mind that worldwide, the has to be several dozen younger RB,LB squad fillers that would be as good or better for less money.

Well the squad next season is technically already weaker in numbers with Lonergan, Gomes, Danjuma, Dele and potentially Harrison being gone
the good news is that those bench places can be filled by maupay, Holgate, mills, Harry tyrer and Onyango

It's bad enough giving him another year, but, the really worrying thing is that you just know that Dyche will find a way to get Evergreen Ashley on the pitch whenever he is fit.

As Dyche has got this omnishambles of a club to 48 points (so far) he may just know what he is doing....
That was in spite of Young, not because of Young. BTW, I never suggested that Dyche didn't know what he was doing, it's tough to watch but, so far, it's been effective.

Effective is the best we can hope for next season. If Dyche wants Young then fine, he's earnt the right to decide.
A 39 year old outfield player is being offered another year contract. Unless it's like £10k pw it's way too much. He should have retired 3-4 years ago, I don't get it.
