The tackle he dived on Elangas back from Youngs starting run he was running in treacle lucky not to be booked again sorry we have better right backs on the bench....

Forest missed a trick yesterday not attacking his side of play with Elanga - as he was almost booked in the first 15 minutes again - no pace - okish on the ball - but we had two better right backs on the bench ...

18 games he played for Villa last season, most of them as substitute & we play him week in week out - a total liability who already has cost us vital points ....

Even an off form Elanga got past him several times and put crosses over. They were poor crosses but he was allowed to make them. Other full backs would be crucified on here for allowing them.

And that first chance Elanga had when he got the ball in the same place Garnacho was free last week. Fortunately he dragged it wide but he had so much time and space.

2nd half was much better by Young.

I'm not sure Gordon will play on Thursday, he got a knock yesterday and is rated as doubtful. I wouldn't be surprised if Howe uses this as an excuse not to play him in front of the Goodison crowd, by whom he will certainly be slaughtered. He would need to come out of the traps flying to silence the crowd.
