Played really well the last 4/5 games now, has to be said. Fair play to him, even just being passable in the premier league at 39 is insane, let alone genuinely having good games.

Have dug him out for a few calamities previous, so it's only right and fair to praise him for some solid stuff.

Also of note, was the only one that could see smith-rowe coming and tried to foul him. This is very worrying because we can't have a 39 year old as the only player out there that can sense danger and put the brakes on it. Others have to be more aware and prepared to take the card.

….it was a brilliant cross but I’m just as impressed that he had the willingness to hit the box, take up that position and have that quality and composure in the 94th minute. It’s much easier for a defender to sit back and watch that move unfold. I’d be chuffed if Mykolenko took up that position if the cross come from the right flank.

More chance of seeing Hibbert come out of retirement and score a goal than seeing Mykolenko anywhere near a byline and putting a decent ball in.

Great cross for the goal and he’s been better in general recently. I wouldn’t go overboard though. Nelson absolutely had the better of him after coming on and he was poor on their goal.

I’d much rather see if Patterson was any good rather than persist with Young but that will never happen with Dyche.

In fact has the most assists for a full back in the league.

In great form an really influential in outcomes of games at the moment.

Been outstanding.

We need to be careful with him and manage him properly.

Fine at the moment one game per week, but when games start coming Weds and Sat i expect him to fade and need managing.

True, I think that was actually the only time in the game he got beyond the 18yd line.

His distribution was really poor yesterday, not helped by DCL barely moving and getting bullied by their centre half and Harrison being only a nuisance to his own team mates.

But to hang back on the far post, just in case and then play a belter of a ball across...it got what it deserved which was a goal.

He's played much better this past month there's no doubt about it, but full back wise we are absolutely dreadful and we are so open to the crossfield ball due to Dyches insistence on everyone tucking in to where the ball is facing.
