I'd also like to add my respect for Roy Keane. He hasn't achieved much yet but he's a winner and I can see him going far in management.

As for Moysie, lets just say that I wouldn't want anyone else at our club right now.

Have you read Keane's outburst against WAGs today stopping their boyfriends/husbands from going to less fashionable areas, he is dead right but it will make no difference;)

I don't get all the fuss over Martin O'Neill at all. What has he done exactly? I mean even Strachan can win in Scotland and he's rubbish.

O'neill managed leicester very well, to a league cup and back to back top ten finishes. he never had mega money to spend but he fashioned a team of good pro's that were reliable. It will be interesting to see how villa get on this year and what further additions he will make. (although i dont like how many penalties they were awarded last season)

Keane has played under clough and ferguson. thats some pedigree, his sheer bloody mindedness and total focus seems to be paying off in management. 37 games to go for roy, and i dont forsee many more 94th minute winners.

im not suggesting o'neill is better than moyes, - moyes took over a club in turmoil facing relegation that contained a fairly poor squad, he turned us around and got us fighting, and has now incrementally improved the team into the quality europe bound side we have now. heres to 5 more years of progress and a hopeful path to glory.

For Finance backed Success I nominate SAF and Mourinho.
For Flair playing and eye pleasing fluidity I nominate Wenger.
And for out and out man management and shoestring budget control I nominate Moyes and Coppell.

I have a hard time seeing SAF, Mourinho, Wenger and so on being able to do this much for a team without having heavy finances behind them.

Some managers are good at various things. Moyes is the perfect manager for us.. but as much as I have a hard time believing the top managers would succeed for a smaller team, I'm not sure Moyes would fit as well as a manager for ManU, Chelsea or Arsenal.

But the only manager I "fear" is Allardyce. He has a knack of getting the last scraps of ability out of his players.. even though they've been on the decline for years when he gets them.

So if there is a better manager than Moyes... I'd say it was Allardyce. But I'd rather have Moyes anyway.. :)

You have to give mourinho respect. He did win the champions league with a low budget at porto, that shows a lot about his abilities. Don't forget ranieri had similar budget when he was with chelsea and he can't win the league.

will never forget the way mourinho porto side dived there way to uafa cup sucess against celtic and i thought i was out of order then and his team still try to do it to this day.

wenger for me as he brought abit of science to are game as in the things they eat ect............ and his teams play the best footy by a mile.

But I still believe that SAF brought that style to the PL with the fast counter attacking sides that won him the majority of his titles.

for henry, give me cantona, for viera give me keane and for any other arsneal player give me schemeichel, parker, neville, bruce, pallister, ferdidnand, irwin, heninze, sharpe, beckham, ince, giggs, hughes, robson, kanchelskis.

SAF brought it and wenger copied it.
