Yep he's pretty much 3rd choice so all it takes is an injury/suspension and he'll be straight back in.

One thing Lampard got right from this point last year was effectively bumping him down to 6th choice CB but since then all of Holgate, Mina and Coady have gone and let's be honest Godfrey is pretty much same standard in the games he plays now, a walking error in his own right.

Don't be fooled: just because JB has had a few token runouts to appease the fanbase, that doesn't mean Dyche's lovechild is forever down the pecking order. Mistake after mistake last season yet Dyche continued to play him every week, right up to the final 4 games, then once Mina left, he was straight back in again.

Soon as we pick up a few results, or JB gets a slight knock, or "the youngster has played a bit too much" for Dyche's liking, his boy will be right back in the starting 11. You just know it's going to happen...
