I can't say Koeman won me over with his constant fawning over Barcelona whilst he was here.I mean, to play devils advocate here, if it was Lampard, commentating on Chelsea in the European cup final, would anyone care?
Yes it would bother me tbh Catcher because football is tribal and I want my manager in my corner at all times.
Lampard showed 100% he's all in with Everton when we beat Chelsea and he was on the pitch loving every second of it. I don't mind managers having an affiliation with an ex club, but Gerrard is paid a packet by Villa and he was all "we this" and "we'll be back stronger".
Your not a fan you no fod gobshite, your manager of Aston Villa (for about another 6 months I reckon)

Maybe not so much as bothered when we were finishing in europe but if he had just finished 14th on 45 points I'd probably prefer he didn't. I still didnt like him but that was because he was always dislikable with his never ending holidays and flirting with Barca etc.Was anyone bothered until it fell apart though?
It fell apart as soon as he called us a project, can't stand the manWas anyone bothered until it fell apart though?
a quite horrendous fraud and turning up on the heels of martinez that aint half sayin something. It fell apart as soon as he called us a project, can't stand the man
I'd be livid. "Commentating" as in "in the box with Martin Tyler" would not be an issue. But turning up in the stadium and recording a piece of social media detritus for the former club's social media is bizarrely inappropriate. For heaven's sake, the man is manager of Aston Villa Football Club - one of the most prestigious clubs in the English game. That alone is a massive honour - and here is Stevie Me forgetting all of that to audition for the position of chief Kopite cheerleader. He had no business posting that "personal" message. The least he could have done was to say that he was in Paris to check on a few players or for tactical insight on a mission for Villa. He basically portrayed them as a Sunday League stepping stone on the way to the real big job: fluffer to Jürgen Klopp. I'm sure he apologised for his Coutinho substitution while he was there.I mean, to play devils advocate here, if it was Lampard, commentating on Chelsea in the European cup final, would anyone care?
Yes because it was relentless with him .Was anyone bothered until it fell apart though?
