I am totally embarassed but I doubt those players care one bit

Watch the official club 'training' videos, ahead of the Wolves game.

They all trek out lethargically, run around for a bit, and then back in their Ferrari's for the drive home to the mansion in Caldy.

Because there is no accountability at this club. Failure is ingrained and is accepted.

Why should the players try hard and be accountable when they see the shambolic way the club is ran off the field.

Utterly abject.

DCL ... just needs to be shot and put out of his misery. Sorry but he needs to take up ballet... although that maybe too strenuous for him. Absolutely daylight robbery paying that child his wages. Someone needs to show him the Terry Butcher photos with blood pouring down his face. That's commitment. Not what this bottler shows. If ever a player summed up this club it's DCL. Never ever want to see him in our shirt again. I doubt I will. His fingernails will probably need a polish after he gets some dirt on them. Stick him in the U12's and see how he does there.

Dyche... trying to get blood from a stone. Villa's first goal and we were statutes. How do you not pick up the one runner?

The pen... well that was nonsense. So Villa gain from the Old Trafford fiasco where Wolves were denied a blatant pen and Pickford blows wind on Watkins and it's given as a pen. Complete joke. Still not convinced there was a touch on Watkins.

So there we are... relegation pretty much a cert based on that.

Coleman, imo, is the only leader on this team and maybe Tarkowski but other than that like you said there is no accountability and it definitely shows.

Are we going to protest or have we given up with apathy bar a few flares outside the ground in the final five games of the season when we are 20 points adrift?

Sick of the mess this club has become. In ten short years we have gone from FA semi finals and Europe with a tough squad who have gone on mostly to win championships elsewhere whilst we have reverted back to the days of Mitch Ward…

Disgusting state of affairs. Looks like it will be third time lucky this year
Can't protest while the windows open or players won't sign.

Can't protest after the window because players a just getting settled and it takes time to gel.

Can't protest after they have settled because it might hurt their confidence and we're trying to stave off relegation.

Season ends with us barely escaping, and then you can't protest because you have to give the board/manager/DoF time to fix things and you don't want to scare off signings.

Repeat forever.

Not really a surprise as they are a good team and we always start the season poorly. We helped them massively with ridiculous self inflicted errors and I would love to know how no contact equals a penalty as Pickford tried to foul Watkins but didn't touch him. Danjuma looked bright and with Harrison on the other wing and McNeil in the centre once both are fit and I think we should be ok.

100% people trot out the excuses and accept poor performance year after year.

On the face of it, we need grafters not scared of a fight who will put a shift in and can play some football. Not all of those cost £30m.

We are a soft touch for agents harking their dross on us as we have no footballing philosophy or style of play.

I honestly wouldn’t care if some no mark who’s scared of a relegation battle doesn’t want to come here, we are not in the luxury of going for cups or Europe so we need to operate at our current level and bring some snarling mutants in over these journey men and primadonnas
