Keane played the full preseason, Branthwaite was a sub for England U21s then only played in the latter 2 games, that’s the reason

He’s a 19 year old footballer. It’s been a while since I was that young but at 19 fitness should be the last thing he needs to work on if he’s been looking after himself at all. Suspect it’s either
A. He’s not very good or
B. Dyche didn’t want him in the first place

If we don't buy a decent CB, at some point Dyche will have to put trust in Branthwaite. I cannot see Keane performing consistently, last season he wasn't scared to drop CBs after poor games, (Coady, Keane) Let's see if he has the bollocks to put trust in a promising young lad with great potential...
