I hate xG but I read that yesterday was the highest xG a team has had since the start of last season and not got a point at around 2.9 and note that doesn’t even count the disallowed goal because that never happened due to crap refereeing.

We did everything but take our chances (including a 3 v 1 attack and an open goal from 8 yards out) and got screwed over by a crap ref which even Mike Dean has come out and said should’ve stood.

The eternal optimist in me says them getting tonked last game could play into our favour.
Their fans will expect them to be very attacking & pressure us high leaving them open to the counter attacking breaks Dyche sets us up for.
The realist in me says if those chances fall mostly to Maupay then we’re cooked.
