This is about the style, clear that the manager has instilled no risk approach which means no balls forwards unless certain pass on.

Look at how quickly villa have played it forwards and how slowly we have. Allows the 8 man block to set and we are not good enough to break it once set.

I'm not advocating lumping it hopefully forwards, but move it more quickly as soon as possession regained.

We had a good spell of slick accurate passing that had them on the backfoot. Then we descended into annoying 6' back-passing orchestrated by Schneirderlin and Siggy. Impetus lost... goal conceded. Poor ole Gomes is in the twilight zone at the mo. Our manager needs to re-think the input of these midfield players. Cant blame any forward players when the final ball is either off target or blocked. Heres to a much better 2nd half... 'Onward Evertonians'

Why is it Everton always seem to give a struggling striker their first goal ? After a good start, plenty of possession, tailed off badly, guilty of giving cheap possession away far too easily, Gomes, Lewin and Richarlison all guilty of it.

Not enough shots chances made when we were in control. Mina been our best defender, Iwobi and Mean on from the start please Silva, need speed and drive in the middle and something else up top.
