Why have onana on the bench and then bring on Davies, after already making the mistake of starting doucoure

Onana is a 20 yearold lad who is considered one of the best prospects in Europe. He has played most of his games in the French league coming off the bench. He’s been at Everton a few days and doesn’t know the system. Bringing him on would be setting him up to fail.
