Dreadful defending

To be fair though Attack is the best form of defence and my god we have no attack!!!
I think the defence have stood firm overall under intense pressure at times.

Who at the club is deciding that we don't need strikers? It's obviously been decided that we weren't going to sign a striker in advance of Richarlison leaving or getting one immediately after he left, or getting one in as soon as DCL got injured, and has been de-prioritised over getting other players in. Just utterly crazy, cannot believe it. And why isn't Lampard going off his head about it? He's taking the fall for the board here, and willingly doing so.
