Played right into Villas hands with that selection today, screams defend for our lives & try snide one on the counter, all Villa have to do is double up on Gordon as he cant make the ball stick and pin Gray & Mccneil far back as possible, completely nullifies our attack, 3-0 coming here.

It's all fine having 3 central defenders but we're not actually protecting them, and then we're not offering anything centrally going forward. It's just playing it forward and hoping Gordon and Gray can run with it.
