Attack on M'side Police Helicopter

I know those helicopters piss us all off in the dead of night, but torching one is a bit much. That's what the Noise Abatement Society was created for.

How do they piss you off? They are doing a job, finding criminals, bring people to justice, making the area a safer place?

Do you get annoyed at speed cameras too?

Some people (those who torch police helicopters) just don't want to have a nice place to live, send them out to Beirut - probably more at home there.

I actually live next door to a copper and in my village you can hear a mouse sneeze it's that quiet. My neighbour works nights and every so often I hear a police siren sound a few bars right outside my house at 3am - and then the ****er next door gets up.

It's well out of order, especially as they are not supposed to sound their sirens that late, not unless there's a sighting of four blokes on a horse.

Well they are trying to catch criminals, or would you rather they robbed your car?

If they robbed my car lid I would smash em in the head, Bronson STYLE!!!

Nobody is saying its a good thing it got done, we are just having some mere japes, clearly it does a good job, but as I say, in the middle of the night, I dont need it thanks.

I love it, I'm like outside my window Caine style seeing what's going on.

Nosey get I am. I never go outside though, may get shot.

When I used to live in the hood, near to the Bidston Pub, the chopper was always above my house, it used to make me fume and ive been chased on Bidston Hill by the frigging spotlight. We had all had a load of mushys, best night of my life, it was like manhunt.

God knows why it was chasing us, we hadnt done anything, it appeared to have been flying over, noticed a load of people on the Hill and just had a look, the fact we all scattered probably didnt help.

It gave up in the end, probably cos they realised we hadnt done nowt, but as I say, best trip EVER.

So taking drugs is not illegal in your neck of the woods.

:)

Getting gripped when your on one is not the best feeling, unless you can turn it around.

This made me laugh:

A silver Audi A4 with blacked out windows was also seen travelling at high speed along Formby Bypass with a number of people on board.

How could they tell?
I guess if you want decent tints, then don't go to Audi.

Only witnessed them close up once when I lived up North - chopper was all over our road trying to find this guy, along with about 5 cars, but it was only when the dogs turned up that they found him, wedged into the middle of a hedge across the road from me!

They should chase thieves with dogs on winches!!
