Yep, at least they training and playing, if they back home they would probably be given time off, I noticed loads of footballers off on their holidays judging by their Instagram pages

They get 10 days off when they get back to England. Spoke to one of the club staff at the training session.

Cheers mate. I contacted Everton Fan Services last night after posting this and they got back to me straight away. I has seen all the events the Supporters Club had organised, but the open training session must have been organised last minute by the club, after I had seen the info.

Have to agree with this.

I think it's a disgrace that mediocrity is rewarded with a trip to Australia, especially considering the salaries these jokers earn.

I don't think that is the purpose of the trip though.
The club signed a contract almost a year ago which earns them a fair bit of money, would you prefer they cancel and lose money instead of earning it?
