That's unfortunate to hear. I got to fly Qantas in 2016 and it is still the best experience I've ever had flying. Was on a long haul from LA to Brisbane and also a short domestic flight to Townsville. Both were outstanding. They even served food on the short domestic flight. Blew me away because the US carriers never do that.
Alan Joyce late of RyanAir was CEO for a long time.
@SerenityNigh

"Australia's Airline" my arse, made money for mainly foreign shareholders but ruined it for customers and his treatment of workers during covid was outrageously despicable, would make the worst of the US robber baron industrialist blush with shame.
Like I said, I'd only use them if I were in a 'last helicopter on the roof at Saigon' situation...and adding insult to injury they've gone woke / virtue signalling as well.

Saw my first 787 last week and it's got a really unusual wingtip design. I think I like it--entire wing seems quite swept compared to recent Boeing designs, but that may be an illusion from the tip itself. It also has a very pronounced taper both on the front and rear of the fuselage, very distinct from the 73x and 77x variants you normally see at an airport.

Is this the ā€œDreamlinerā€ or a new model?
