Oohhh. That must be new.. never knew that! I'm learning something new everyday! But is that fair? We have 4 defenders and they just 2 strikers. ;)
 
I believe probably like everyone else we will take this game and pull a Reading from Sunday. Drop Anichebe and put either Jags or Pienaar on as a extra midfielder. Spurs have to get a result and if we can soak them up for the first quarter of an hour we should be ok. I'll put our teams defense up against anyone in the prem. Johnson's work rate as a lone striker will be on show and if we can link him up and stiffel Bent the other way. I'll be made up.
 

the point is that for the first time in a long time i look at our team sheet and think that there is no reason we can't get a result at places like whl. defense- solid. very solid. midfield- hard and add to that arteta's magic. attack- quick and potent.

we will be feared this season up and down the country.
 
Agree with teppic, I've already start to think we can win every match that we played except for away games vs top 4. Just need a bit of consistency and bit of luck.
 
On a good day we can give a fight to any team in the league. But that doesn't take away the fact that this is a game we can loose since they are at our lvl.. in some regards perhaps even a slightly lvl higher. We have a great team, but we are weakened at the moment. With Cahill and Vaughan healthy I'd give us a bigger chance.

But I fear we'll loose this one.

I'd rather face Tottenham when they've got Berbatov, Keane, DeFoe, Jenas.. and all the other ordinary players out sick or injured.. (y)

Seriously though, don't know if this is a good time to face them since they'll be coming out with their guns blazing to show their fans that this weekends game was a bad day and not what they can expect for this season.
