I never said anything about those who go OTT with positivity, the 'we're gonna win the lot' attitude. Both extremes are silly.
People need to find a balance. I think we have good reason to be excited about Everton but some healthy skepticism is warranted until these deals, stadium etc come off.

Really mate? Or could it just possibly be that Witzel's people agreed a deal and have tried to negotiate better terms, and Moshri, being most likely, a far more professional businessman than this club has ever had in it's management, is having none of it? I didn't see the groundswell of support for your nomination to CEO and main shareholder mate so why don't you just trust an evidently successful business and football man to do what he thinks best?
I don't have a fear mate - just saying it's not done yet because he hasn't signed yet, and clearly it wasn't imminent.

Although I haven't seen much of this Witzel fella - I am told by some he is very good and others say he is bang average.

I've seen him a few times (not playing for Belgium) so not really fair to judge him on a few games I suppose, but the games I did see him play he didn't really do much for me.
